ABOUT

morning to morning is a platform in the form of a monthly publication,

created by a group of New York based

performance artists.

we look to incite conversation among artists exploring how we work through making work.

our goal is to find meaning in our differences instead of disregarding them.

please lend your ear to the space in between these works rather than any work in particular.

our Forum is an experiment on aesthetic drive controlled by the constant of a month to month response. Each month one of us serves as the Host for the issue by choosing a topic we all respond to. Our responses can vary in medium, perspective, distance and relationship to the topic. By removing the topic from the presentation of the Forum, our pieces stand only in relation to each other.

In this section you can visit our responses for the current month as well as explore an archive of the previous month's forums.

in the Laboratory you will find a wider range of projects lead by members of morningtomorning. These projects are experiments in performance and visual arts that provide a structure for different artists to fill in with their own vision. Each project has it's own way of investigating, it's own pace and it's own vocabulary.  The laboratory setting invites an attitude of observation and inquiry. These are not pieces of art, the relevance of this work lies in the questions that arise within each project.

through Us you can not only learn more about each artist, but also see the content of morningtomorning through the lens of each individual's work and development.

our News posts let you know about events, performances and shows we are part of outside of this website.

every month the Host Interviews an artist that is relevant not only to the topic, but to the artist him/herself. We want to pay homage to these artists who have inspired us through their work and  their contribution to the conceptual development of art.

please Contact us if you have any questions or suggestions or want to be part of a laboratory project. thanks for visiting.
